Need to buy or sell a house? Come see me!

Fully, fully agree with karma and another google user!(name unknown)

Had to at least give a star to write a review...HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE which led me to do a google search and read the reviews and after reading the reviews they are correct. I'm so thankful we chose not to do business with them!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not rent form these people I warn you! The seem all nice at first then they start to lie about everything. They dod not inspect their properties good enough and do not require the property owners to do so either. The paint was blotchy, light fixtures had wired exposed and a slew of other issues. Three months after i moved in my ac went out too it 3 weeks to get fixed IN JULY, appaerantly to them no AC in July is not an emergency. And don't count on most of your security deposit back no matter how good the house looks when you leave. They will find every reason to keep as much as they can even if they have to lie. And before you move out don't cut the grass they will deduct from your security deposit anyway for grass being cut before next tenant move in ( which you shouldn't be responsible for) STAY THE HE'LL AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!

A BIG NO-NO to Anita and Terry Mullinex of Meybohm Realtors. Since Anita was recommended by my Mother-in-law's friend, we trusted them. They made my hubby sign few documents & $5000 in closing cost. When hubby was hesitating on signing, she said verbally that usually buyer agrees to pay $3000 & seller has to pay $3000 & sometimes none. Back then didn't realize but they had made My hubby sign $1500 in repair cost & 7% in their selling commission! Not only that our previous agent had put our house for $195,900 which we thought was reasonable as it was remodeled for $40,000. However, they convinced us to put the house on sale for $189,900. Now for 2 months didn't get any offers. Then when I told Anita to have an Open House she readily agreed. But just before the open house she said we had an offer! Seemed like she didn't want to do an open house. Then buyer came with their bid + $5000 in closing cost. So we said, $187,000 + $3000. She called me back & said buyer REALLY needs $5000 in closing cost. It was only later that I found out that Anita & Terry were going only by the signed documents! Our Electricity & Water bill had shoot up almost 3 times the cost in an empty home. After the bid +$5000 in closing cost agreement, now they came up with almost $1700-$2000 of repair cost! They made us buy Termite bond for the buyer. Just 3 months ago we got Clear Certi for Termite from an Inspector. Then the repair cost of $875 to replace the skylight that had only 1 crack from outside for almost a year but then just before the selling of the home, there was a hole and 3 cracks! $100 to repair termite sheet near Garage, then $300 in replacing bad wood under the 3 windows & 2 way light switch in kitchen for $75!! I said we will pay only $1500 in repair cost so then they said Maybohm will pay the rest. Oh worst was when they brought up AC issue on a Brand New AC. They showed us air leak which was easily sealable by sticking Aluminum foil on its edges. But then they said the Copper wire's diameter is so small that AC is not cooling as per its capacity! So thin diameter is not allowing proper flow of FREON. They said if we were to give house to someone, it better be at least in required condition! Few days before closing I saw Anita and some 2 guys had come. I had no knowledge about them and then Anita said that they were the repairman who can do all repair work for a very reasonable price and that they get all their housework repair done from them.I told Anita, I will contact Palmer HVAC who had installed AC to come and fix AC air leak. She told me a story how a seller got Home Depot to do their repair work and how it cost them so much money. I stood by my decision and insisted that I will contact Palmer and find out if AC had Labor & Parts warranty. Still under 1 year warranty on Labor, Palmer agreed to fix the air leak at no cost & I asked him to give me something in Writing that current diameter of copper wire is as per the required standards & that house is cooling well. He did & I forwarded that to Anita. However, before that she had told me that if the AC could not be fixed then buyer may walk out! Her body language, gesture all indicated how sad she was for the buyer! All this was just 2 days before closing on Aug 2nd. On Aug 2nd Anita told me on phone that when we will go to visit the house, we will find some repair work things in garage. So we said its okay. Its only when we checked the house, the buyer had REMOVED A DOOR from GARAGE & MADE A WALL there and BROKE the WALL near MAIN entrance and REPLACED the door there, FAN was ON while the house was still in our name and just 2 days before Anita had said If AC was not fixed buyer might walkaway!!!! How serious buyer might be to think, plan and replace the door. How did He get access to our house? Even at the Lawyer's office, Anita, Terry, buyer and his agent all played cool did not talk about Illegally replaced door! Yes ILLEGAL, UNETHICAL, UNPROFESSIONAL, FOUL PLAY-ANITA & TERRY MULLINEX a BIG NO NO NO...!!! And MEYBOHM REALTORS - A BIG NO NO NO...!!!!!

"Yes ILLEGAL, UNETHICAL, UNPROFESSIONAL, FOUL PLAY-a BIG NO NO NO...!!! And MEYBOHM REALTORS - A BIG NO NO NO...!!!!!"

Terrible, dishonest, unethical realtors. I encourage buyers or sellers with similar experiences with lies and unethical behaviors to take it to the GA real estate commission and fill out a complaint. Only then will processes come under scrutiny. After this experience I realized how useless a realtor really is these days, especially when they are in the deal solely for themselves and are intentionally misleading for personal gain. Additionally, the BBB is a great place to submit a review that cannot be deleted by the company under review by the consumer.
