Shady business tactics, buyers beware! If you are ready to buy your furniture and have a truck to pick it up the same day, then this is the store for you. Otherwise, if you need to wait to go back and pick it up, don't bother. I purchased a sofa and loveseat set from these people over a month ago. And I told them when I would be by to pick it up. It was paid for in full. I asked that they hold it until I closed on our house as we had no where to store our furniture. My parents have bought things from this company and so has my best friend and both have raved about this place so I thought I could trust them with doing this. However, I went to pick up my furniture today and found out nearly 5 hours later from the time that I initially showed up to pick it up (they sent me away and said they would call me, I ended up having to call back twice to find out what the deal was) that they sold the sofa but still had the loveseat and wanted to deliver the loveseat free of charge with a mismatched "loaner" sofa. My husband noticed that the date on the bill of sale was 05/10/12, not 05/10/14, another "shady" thing to stand out that just happen to be overlooked on my part. I of course objected and they offered to let me pick out something else. They said I could get the sofa re-ordered but would have to wait on it. After closing on my house and with our busy schedules we didn't have time to wait another week for it to be ready. We found another set that was very comparable but it was about 100.00 more. I asked if they would swap them out and they said "NO". I then asked for a refund which they did give me. This company has religious signs hanging all over their business office but the customer service clerk cusses like a sailor and talks dirty to her customers. My Mom spoke up due to feeling that I was being ill treated and she was not rude to the clerk but was firm with her and the clerk went off on her and told her that she was running a "one woman show, etc". I will be posting this review everywhere as I heard that they plan to re-open in the future elsewere as they are finally going out of business due to someone buying their lease out from what they "said". But who knows? Maybe they screwed so many people over, its finally the end of them.
Had a horrible experience at Mr Furniture. We didn't really like the haggling process and still felt ripped off afterwards, even tho we got the bedroom set we wanted for about 700 dollars less than we would have at the Ashley Store. I really didn't like the fact that all sales are final but that's the kind of place it is ... They said our furniture should take. 2-3 weeks.... It took 7 weeks... And one piece was broken when they delivered it. They delivery guy took some note and said they would order a new drawer. We didn't hear anything from them and had just about decided that we probably we gonna have to buy a new shelf, until about two weeks later we got a call
I will never shop here again, nor would I recommend it to a friend
