We went to 4 different furniture stores and Rooms To Go was the only store that had great customer service (Mike is the BEST!) without making us feel pressured to purchase. Several other stores in the local area were the equivalent of car salesman; very pushy, talked negatively about other stores, and kept changing their prices/sales when we said we wold "come back" after exploring all of our options. This was one of the main reasons we went back to RTG, in addition to the 60 months of 0% financing they were offering.
They have a great selection of furniture for prices that you'd expect. The sales people are courteous and not pushy.
Salesperson Barry Brock was a tremendous help. I told him what I needed and he put it all together in a very short time. Very professional and knowledgeable.
Ask for him when you visit the store.
So far pleased with purchases and sales person, still awaiting some furniture. Would have been good to know about mattress warranty & guarantee - if after 30 days you don't like it they will send a service person out. What will that do exactly if mattress is too firm or too soft?
Our sales rep Mike was friendly, personable, attentive, and even answered his cell phone on his days off (We felt bad calling him, after realizing he was trying to spend time with his family!). There was a mistake with our order (bar stool chairs were ordered/delivered with a counter height table) and Mike happily fixed our order.
Tried to sell us a faux leather sofa as a real top grain leather sofa. Not the best customer service. Also made a smart comment to my wife. Kay needs some more customer service training. If we go back and that's a very big if, we would not be buying from her.
We ordered a couch set, dining room set, and a bedroom set and couldn't be more pleased with the quality and look of everything we received. We are still waiting on some stained glass lamps along with one more chair, which we were informed were on back order. We are huge Rooms To Go fans now and we plan on buying our first home in the near future, so they will definitely have our business again soon enough! :)
