I have been there twice and received great care for my pets. The first visit was for a puppy that was thrown out of a moving vehicle right in front of me. The puppy was given shots and cleared to go home. The puppy ended up having parvo so I took her back. They fixed her in a few days at a reasonable price. She's very healthy and happy today. Now I take my own dog in for routine visits and have been very satisfied with the care we received.
We switched to St.Francis Animal Hospital just recently and we are very pleased so far! The stuff is friendly and caring. They called me few times checking on my cat and I really appreciated it. Dr.Jones is amazing, she is the best vet doctor we ever took our cats to!
My husband and I recently moved to the Augusta area, and we are so happy with the medical team at St. Francis we are going to make them our new Vet.
We were thrilled with how wonderful the entire staff was at St. Francis. We had an emergency with one of our dogs, she needed stitches on her face, and our regular vet was booked. We called St. Francis and they had us come in immediately. They took care of our Ciara, quickly, and she was very happy and didn't show any fear going with the staff. She was still happy when they returned her to us with two staples and an E-collar!
We recommend this place to anyone who loves their babies and wants the best care for them.
I have been going here for years!!! They are always helpful. I especially love Dr. Kim!!!! Scarlet my little dog can be cranky and she handles her very well with understanding and kindness. My dog has severe allergies and Dr. Kim educated me on how to help prevent outbreaks so she will not become so sick.I really appreciate them and how they are always kind to me with my work hours. I truly feel like i do not need to worry when i go there for the simple fact they have never hurt her when doing her nails and she has black toe nails. So it can be hard. Some people say they are pricey but honestly you can not put a price on quality and the care they provide. Plus they have worked with me.
We took our other dog, Raven, the next day (Saturday) to discuss behavior therapy and anxiety medication. The therapist, Stephanie, spent a lot of time with us and showed us some new techniques to use. Dr. Garner discussed medications we could try, and spent a lot of time with us discussing our concerns. He listened to our concerns and we never felt rushed or that he was too busy.
My rescue was going to use St Francis to obtain a health certificate for two animals being transferred out of state. I called to pay the balance ahead of time. For the health certificate alone, they tried to charge $150 per dog. That's obscene. At any other vets office, that's $35 tops. All they do is verify the vetting the dog has already had on a piece of paper and give us a copy, retain a copy, and send one to the follow on rescue. This is an example of a vets office that is in it for the money and nothing else. DON'T USE THEM. Go to a vet that actually cares about the animals and not making cash off their owners.
