I'm standing here at 7:20. I had a 7am appointment for grooming. No employees showed up to work. One poor guy is trying to call people in and is apparently getting yelled at over the phone because he's upset that people are standing here and nobody is here. Ridiculous.The store manager finally arrived at 7:40 and tried to get in the computer to check us in, but never even apologized. When the employee showed up she took over and he just left. He could really use a course in customer service. When something like this happens in my business I have a personal conversation with the affected party and go over my action plan with them to let them know what I have put in place to ensure this doesn't happen again. Of course something like this is unacceptable in my business but I got the feeling the poor service really didn't bother the manager or staff.
Great place. I brought my new dog there and the community was quite friendly. I'm currently socializing her, and people were very understanding when she HAD to greet them. The staff was also very accommodating.
I really dislike writing negative reviews, but Petsmart earned it. We purchased a tortoise from the Augusta location and we bought all of the materials that go in the habitat at the same time as the pet. It acted sluggish since we had it (thought that was normal) but we finally took it to the vet, and the vet said it was sick and had worms in less in than 20 days from the purchase. Petsmart said sorry. It's costing us hundreds of dollars to bring this pet back to health. They had no interest in speaking to the veterinarian, nor any interest in covering a percentage of the visits.
Toy prices were definitely higher than usual, but the harness I bought seems great and relatively well priced.
Great prices. Great deals. Great selection. Great employees. Great facility. Great services. If you are a pet parent or relative to one and you prefer to make well -informed, affordable purchases then PetSmart should be your first choice to care for your furry/ scaly friend. It gets 4 stars for the possibility of not having desired items conveniently in stock & the occasionally unattended pet "mess" but other than that, I shop nowhere else for my Max.
Not much selection in store, they are frequently sold out of items and certain pets. Prices are comparable to petco, but it is significantly cheaper to shop online. Overall its not as nice as other petsmarts that i have frequented
