Worst place I have ever been!! I wasn’t even going to write a review I was just going to call and let them know what happened and how bad the lady did on my hair. When I called they didn’t even ask my name or even care to look up and see who jacked my hair up. All I got was “ok I’m sorry sir”. Who does that?? Anyways awful place and would never recommend go here ever!!
My husband takes our 4yo to get a haircut and see a movie every month, and every month my husband's haircut looks fine. Nice trim, nothing fancy or unusual, just the way he likes it. My son's on the other hand always turns out a hot mess. Totally unacceptable. I get it he's 4, but he sits still and loves getting his haircut. We asked for a "faux hawk" style because if we don't they cut his bangs straight across like they put a piece of tape on his forehead and 1980 ensued. It's always uneven and the back always looks like crap but this time there are chunks missing, the fade is completely lopsided and in the back it looks like the girl realised it and just took a chunk out of the side to "correct" it. So now we have to find a new place to not only fix this disaster but for them to go to every month.
I took my two year old son in to get a haircut this past Friday. He has had his haircut their previously and it turned out well. This time was awful. I understand that a 2 year old can be a difficult client to handle but none the less my experience was awful. Heidi started cutting my sons hair and the first thing I notice is how strong her hands reek of cigarettes (my son was on my lap). If you smoke cigarettes that is your business but before you plan on cutting someone’s hair knowing that your hands are going to be in their face please wash them. Like I said I know how difficult it can be to deal with a two year old but Heidi was clearly overwhelmed in which I said several times “ok we can just stop because he is just not having this haircut today”. Did she stop? No she kept going and cut my sons ear with her scissors. Did she notice? NO, not until I pointed it out in which she said something along the lines of I’m sorry it must be because he kept moving. Yeah your probably right, but I absolutely told you to stop several times because he wasn’t comfortable having his haircut that day. After the HACK job on his hair.. I mean there is not one even hair on his head, we went to the car with my sons ear still bleeding non stop and a pissed off mama. As soon as I look up, not having been out of the salon less than a minute and Heidi is out front smoking yet another cigarette. Very unprofessional. We will not be back and I will definitely steer anyone I care about away from having their hair cut at Great Clips.
