He has been wonderful, has really helped me and when I'm there he spends time talking to me as I need... Has fixed my fracture and pains!!
I had high hopes during my intial appointment with Dr. Gallagher and patiently awaited my surgery date. The first red flag was his disability departments incompetence and delay in completing my disability paperwork. I had to threaten to cancel my surgery just to get my paperwork done. Next came my surgery time debacle. I was told my surgery was at 2pm and went over the usual no food or drink after midnight, etc. I wasn't told what time I should arrive, but I knew at least an hour before surgery. I get there at 1pm, sign in, fill out final paperwork and have a seat. My surgery time comes and goes and it's now 2:35. I walk to the counter and ask how much longer my surgery was at 2pm. She says your surgery isn't until 3:30. I tell the lady exactly what I was told the day before. I wrote it all down at no time was there a mention of 3:30 and if it were I would have refused such a late surgery time. Anyway, I cancelled my surgery called his office livid by what had just happened asked about other options and got no where. To top it all off I haven't received a single phone call from Dr. Gallagher apologizing for the mixup and trying to make this wrong right. Now I'm forced to start the process all over with a new doctor. I would never recommend your facility to anyone who has to have orthopedic surgery.
