Good rental experience. Check in was delayed due to understaffing but employees were courteous although some customers were upset.

I rented a car from this location while in town visiting family back in May. I picked up the car and as usual looked it over to make sure there was no pre existing damage. The gentleman who showed me the car, Carlos, showed it to me wet which I thought was odd, but I didn't say anything. I didn't notice any damage so I signed off and went on my way. When I returned the car the next day I was told that there were scratches and that they would need to collect my deductible in order to have the car fixed. I looked at the car, and it was scratched, but it was a silver car and the scratches were barely noticeable dry, so it's not impossible that they weren't there before I rented it and I just didn't notice them because the car was wet. I was pissed having to give them $500 for some scratches that I wasn't convinced weren't there to begin with, but after spending an hour on the phone with my insurance company, they instructed me to pay the money and they would do their job to pursue it. While on the phone I noticed that they washed the car and were showed it to another customer to rent, and it was still wet AGAIN. I asked Carlos how he was going to rent the car out if he was trying to collect $500 from me to repair the damages that he was trying to say that I caused. He said it wasn't damaged enough to not still be rented. I called BS. He then showed the customer another car.

Good site to use if not thinking pick up times are etched in stone. Polite staff.

I paid the $500 and went on about my business. Fast forward to yesterday, I was told by my insurance company that they had been in contact with the Damage Recovery Unit regarding my case as they were questioning the damage and the fact that the car was shown to me for a walk through while wet. The DRU stated they would do an investigation into the claim and get back with me. I contacted the DRU myself yesterday and was told that the claim had been closed and that a message had been sent over to the branch and to contact them for a full refund of the deductible paid. I called and guess who answered, Carlos. I told him what I was told, he said he had heard about the claim being dropped but, didn't know anything about me getting a refund. He told me that the DRU closed at 4(even though I had literally just talked to them at 448pm), and that he wouldn't be able to talk to them til the following day and didn't know how long it would take for me to get my money back. I told him I had just spoken to someone, he told me to have the DRU call him. I called back and by the time I got transferred to a Recovery Specialist it was 501pm and they had just closed at 5pm (5 Carlos, FIVE). I called the DRU back today, they called the branch and told the manager to return my money. It was done easy as pie.

Wait time in office was too long car provided was not equal to size of my car agent was nice

These guys are scam artists. There are too many other locations in the Augusta area for me to ever consider renting from this one again.

The Customer Service there was terrible for the second straight rental visit there. I showed up one hour early to get rental vehicle since I had a doctor appointment and was told I could not get vehicle since my rental time was one hour. I was told they could run my license and credit card and it would make process quicker when I returned. I returned in an hour exactly after calling my doctor, who was happy to give me the delayed appointment time, and was asked for my license and credit card again. I asked why did I give it the first time and was told it was not ran so why ask me for it and tell me that. I am very pleased with Enterprise overall with the prices and customer service at other locations when I travel for my job. I chose this site because it is close to my house but will not rent another vehicle from this location and will rather just go to the airport or Washington Road locations.

I rent cars from here 2 times a year for family vacations. I usually request their town An country mini van because it's spacious An has TVs in it for the kids, if they are unable to accommodate my request they always find something similar. I've never had a problem with my credit card or funds, it's always been smooth transactions and professional services. They always have do military discounts.
