I am a New York Italian so I am very critical of Italian food. I had gnocchi with lamb ragu and it was not good. Others had carbonara and chicken and mushrooms in a white cream sauce which they say was good. The lasagna looked terrible. Service was good.
Authentic Italian restaurant... reminding me of some of small restaurants we ate at in Italy. Ideal for a family meal and sharing courses. The portions are generous and well seasoned.
Easily one of the best Italian spots in Augusta, this casual and friendly restaurant has great wines, pastas, seafood and chicken dishes to please anyone. Great for family or a group of friends looking for a casual and moderately upscale dinner. Very prompt service and reasonable prices bump this to 5-star review. Authentic Italian dishes overcome the somewhat bland strip mall location.
The food was amazing! Service and the timing bringing the food out could use a little work, but I’m not going to hold it against them because of the amazing heavenly food that was prepared❤️
Edward, the owner and chef, is the real deal. The food is fresh- made in house. The fried lemon was a delicious surprise especially with a sip of red to follow. The calamari was perfect with the marinara that had a hint of Hungarian hot paprika. We had a side of the risotto and house made pasta. Through risotto was served hot and creamy; the pasta was perfect.. The branzino lacked the traditional presentation, but it was perfectly prepared with a medley of roasted veggies. The only small disappoint was the tiramisu it was a bit sweet , given the chefs broader European twist on food I would recommend Cucina 503to anyone abroad or just wants an excellent fine dining experience.
