Moved from San Diego, Ca to Augusta, Ga. When I asked that my pod be moved to Augusta it was shipped to Atlanta. True when I got the original quote I thought that I might be moving there, but when I called to schedule the move I specifically told them that I had moved to Augusta. Since the pod was sent to Atlanta I have been charged an additional 1200 dollars to have the pod moved to Augusta then delivered to my home. They claimed that it wa d a new contract. I would not recommend them or use them ever again. My move costed between monthly rental and transportation cost 5600 dollars.
The size and convenience of the unit were well worth the cost. The website is well organized and easy to understand. There were no issues with billing - everything was very straightforward. The "moving" staff were friendly, accommodating, and on time. I was even allowed to speak with the owner of the local branch who was more than helpful. The 866-xxx-xxxx number service reps could use a raise or some other incentive as it appears a few of them hate their jobs and take it out on customers. Overall, working with PODS was beneficial. I would recommend the local PODS branch.
