Schedule a local move from downtown Augusta to. House. 12-2 was my given window. At 3:30 I called the office. Said the movers were on another job and would be out within the hour. An hour later I called and was told the men would be in shortly and she would call when the were on there way. At nearly 5, I didnt get a call, but a voice mail saying they couldnt move me until next week, or refund my money. I am livid!!! What a poorly run business with inapt office staff! I would fire all of them! I work for a large manufacturer, who recommended this company. My company will surely know about this, and I would not recommend this company to anyone!
Before I called Two Men and a Truck to report the theft, I made absolutely sure that he had not just misplaced it. Accusing someone of being a thief is not something I want to do unless I know for certain. 95% of our stuff was in boxes, so it was pretty easy to go over the entire house. After a solid hour of looking and looking again, I called and spoke with a woman, who called the guys in the truck. She called me back, and said they claimed they had not seen it. Of course, what else would they say? So I told her I would be contacting the police to make a report, which I did. I also contacted Nintendo, who said the police could request to have it tracked. However it can only be tracked if someone gets online with it.
We moved to Evans about 6 months ago from Alabama, and hired Two Men and a Truck to move us from one of our storage units and into our new house because I had thrown out my back and needed the help. We met at the unit that morning, and everything went great. The two guys and I seemed to hit it off pretty well, even though they were making some pretty off-color remarks about one of the women in their office. One mentioned he had 5 kids, so I gave him an unopened Crayola paint set to take back to them.
Normally I’m not the kind of guy to get online and berate someone’s business. Actually this is the first time I’ve had to do it and it is 100% warranted. These people obviously don’t care what kind of garbage they hire. And when this problem occurred, they did nothing to help me.

Minutes after they were gone, my son came to me saying his 3DS was missing, but I figured he had just misplaced it and went back to unpacking. 10 minutes went by and he was really beginning to get upset, so I decided to help him look.

Kevin and Tyler are amazing! I was a little weary of paying by the hour for packing and moving services, but these two continually worked from the moment they arrived to the time they left. They used just the right amount to packing supplies, so as to save me money. They are polite, professional, courteous, and hard-working. I have been packed/moved by the government a handful of times and these guys are hands-down the best. I HIGHLY recommend their services!
So we unloaded the truck, my wife came back, I gave the guys some water, did the paperwork and they left.
Worst moving experience EVER... would have been better off with two boys and a wheel barrel. Prices jumped from original quote once the finally arrived. They calculate your time when they arrive to their work NOT when they arrive at your location. They arrive an hour later with a SLOW paperwork process.. clearly designed to eat up more time .. even before they start to pack. They complained about how they are charged as employees and were preparing to go on strike. They broke my furniture and ran over a water line resulting in a loss of water and refused to return my calls until Monday. Never ever use this company if you value your money and property. As a soldier of more than 25 years of service , I have moved many many times stateside and abroad.., this was the worst moving experience EVER. When the movers broke my China cabinet they reversed my $300 damages claim after I processed a stop payment for services since they ran over my water line and left me and my family ( evacuated from Florida during the hurricane) without water from Friday- Monday. PLEASE run from this substandard company who clearly stated to me that they are encouraged to drag out the process and run up the tab. You get what you pay for... but it the case of TWO MEN.. aka Total Waste Of Money Every Nickle!! SCAM.., better off with two little boys with a wagon!
The detective working the case has so far had no luck locating the missing 3DS. So it’s gone. Add another $400 to the other $400+ I paid them to move a few things 3 miles down the road.
When we arrived at the house, my wife and kids were leaving to go tour the new school. My six year old son had been playing his Nintendo 3DS when we arrived, and had put it up in his case, along with his charging cable and all of his games. He’s very organized for a little boy and always knows where his things are. And I know for sure they had seen him playing it when I was showing them around.
They worked with our every need. The men that helped us were incredibly friendly and got the job done quickly and efficiently. They were careful but fast. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing any moving assistance.
So I told you all of that to tell you this: This company hires criminals, plain and simple. If you don’t mind having worthless scum in your house, moving your valuables and scoping out your place, then go ahead and give them a call. But what makes this extra heinous to me, is that they stole from a child. A six year old! If they’ll steal from a little kid, they certainly won’t mind robbing you! They're savages with no empathy whatsoever.
