I may not be so lit if it wasn’t for the suit not being $200 worth of a rental because of the several strands of thread sticking out of the button holes and the hem of the pant legs being stitched by scotch tape it seems. I’ll be pushing for as many friends and family to forgo the traditional ridiculousness of wedding couture, and not burden grinds and family with spending a collective $2000 on rentals. At the very least not from men’s warehouse.
We had a fabulous experience picking out tuxes for our wedding. The staff had an incredible amount of patience and were so fun and friendly!! Our guys looked great and we had no problems. Our wedding was outside of Charlotte, NC and our guys lived all over the place. It was so easy that they could get fitted, pick up, and drop off their tuxes at multiple locations.
Very helpful. Very professional staff. Preston was great. Highly recommended.
This is going to be a long one. My friend was getting married in Mississippi and wanted to order matching suits for the groomsmen. He sent me a tailoring form from Mens Warehouse and asked me to take it in to a local store to get measured. So I went in, approached an employee and showed him the form. He claimed that it wasn't theirs and must've come from a different store (even though it had the Mens Warehouse logo in the corner of the form.) He then said they don't normally do that because it was prom season and they were busy (there was one other customer in the store and He was being helped by another employee. This guy was folding pants when I came in.) He then tried calling their store in Mississippi to see if an order had been placed and then tried to call upper management and while on hold gave in and took my measurements. It took 10 minutes of arguing with the guy for him to take two minutes to measure me. Finally after that fun ordeal I got to Mississippi, picked up my suit and it didn't fit. The shoulders were too wide, the sleeves came down to my knuckles and the pants were so baggy they looked like garbage bags. So all in all I had to deal with a rude employee and pay them 190 dollars to rent a suit that didn't fit for a day. Such a great experience.
The lady that checked me out was extremely rude. When I handed her the suit rental I was returning, she snapped at me with “you’re late! there’s a late fee. come over here and pay!” I understood already that there would be a late fee, but the way she acted when she noticed the due date (yesterday) was as if I offended her severely. Completely unprofessional.
That brought me back to the idea of the late fee that I had accepted the reality of but now that’s its back in mind, I think it’s completely asinine and discouraging as a business model to charge a late fee if the suit is not returned within 24 hours after the wedding. Most weddings are on Saturdays and if it’s a wedding like the one I went to, it involved traveling a few states away. It doesn’t make sense for me to be able to pick up a suit days or a week before a wedding but to then be required to return the suit within 24 hours after the wedding. That’s just clearly a money making scheme. The wedding help is already pressured because of the $200 investment of wearing a suit for 1 hour and to be expected to find their way to a men’s warehouse in this town they are visiting on a Sunday is ridiculous—hence the reason it’s probably a money making scheme.
Came into the store based on a recommendation to see Mr. Stephens to upgrade my work attire. Was very insightful & detailed oriented on my wants and needs. Thanks again! I will be back
