Absolutely the worst service I've ever experienced by the lil old lady that works the counter. She acts like she's mad at the world. I had two keys made and they both broke from inferior quality. Found out they seemed to made of tin, and much lighter in weight than my other keys.. asked if they had a better quality key, and she rudely said no , we cant help you and we don't give refunds. I thought, "my God", I don't want a refund. She abrubtly walked off away from me. I will never go back there and will tell my 800 customers about my experience. I don't know who owns that place but they sure need a lesson on customer service. AAA lock and safe on Tubman home rd. was much more accomodating
Have done business with Dixie for years, when I have needed locksmith help. Recently I bought new locks for the back doors, from Home Depot, online. They arrived not "keyed-alike". HD could not re-key them. But, Dixie DID ! Reasonable charge of $10 per cylinder. Friendly people -- reasonable price.

Was locked out of the house with my parents who are 85 years old. The temperature with the heat index was close to 100 degrees. Needless to say, my parents were not very happy. Amazing life saving service. My daughter accidentally locked her baby in the vehicle and Dixie Lock and safe arrived on site shortly after getting notified of the emergency. Mercer quickly opened up the door to the car. We can’t say thank you enough. The professionalism and efficiency of Mercer was beyond any expectations. Other than a scared baby and mother everyone was safe. After opening the door Mercer hopped in his van to drive off. I had to catch him before he drove to thank him. Impossible to put a price on such a life saving service but Mercer insisted there was no charge. For any future lock out needs, I will be certain to call. Thank you.
