This store has zero customer service. IF you can find an associate in the store you are lucky that they will take time out of their schedule to even assist you. Passing the buck is the rule of thumb at this location.
Second, your cashier, Olivia, finished our visit in the friendliest manner I have come across in months.
I had the worst experience in this store last week. One star is too generous. I've been going to the Bobby Jones store for years although I live closer to the Evans store. Most of my time is generally spent in lawn and garden. I made a visit to purchase paint, lawn equipment and a pressure washer. Not one person offered to assist me and when I attempted to approach associates they walked away or acted as though they did not see me. There were two guys working in the area. I stopped in an area a couple of aisles over from hardware there were 3 female associates holding a conversation. They continued, it was obvious that they were not interested in offering assistance. I went to the paint department 3 times. Finally after waiting the last time with no other customer in sight the two associates (older females) held a lengthy conversation before acknowledging me. Once one of the ladies finally acknowledged me she advised that she was leaving and they other lady would help. I got what I needed and made decision not to go back. The very next day I went to Lowes in Evans my experience was the exact opposite. The Bobby Jones store needs to put more emphasis back on customer service and should consider having some of their associates shadow the associates at the Evans store. Take care of your customers...its simple.
I will never spend another penny of my money at any Lowe's...
It has been over a month now and I still do not have my fence put up and the material has been laying in my yard, killing my grass for the last 3 weeks... I finally have given up on these incompetent people and told them to come get the material out of my yard and refund my money...
I want to thank 2 employees for really great service. First, a very special commendation to Wayne Owens for his extremely thorough help in finding the exact plumbing hardware that my wife wanted. He was not only helpful, he was also engaging and inspirational to my son who was accompanying me.
today is October 13,2017,
It is certain that I will shop at this particular Home Depot again, hoping to see them again.
So it has been over a month since I signed the contract to have them install 102 feet of 4' Black chain link fence and a 12 foot DRIVE GATE,, half of the material and the wrong gate were delivered over 3 weeks ago.. I have been trying to get them to bring the 12 foot gate that I paid for and the rest of the material for the install and I have been lied to over and over and over and over and over and over again by several employee's of Lowe's.. I have wasted 4 days of my time,of which I had to miss work, to be home for a scheduled installation, and no body ever showed up to do the install..
Worst retail experience I've ever had. This store fails at every level - from the sales floor all the way to management.
Wish I had never signed the contract with these incompetent people to install my fence..
I give them a negative 5 stars..
I came in to buy an LG appliance set at this store. I waited for one hour and 45 minutes before I was assisted, and only then because an associate from another department helped me. Prior to this associate, I had asked some of the front desk ladies to speak to Victor, the Assistant Manager on duty. They told me "We think he's at lunch." I asked them to page him and they said no, and dismissed me. I guess I was interfering with their chatting with each other. They sure weren't helping any customers. I later discovered that Vic was in fact in the store. They were just too lazy to page him.
We bought whole kitchen package and the installation about 2 weeks before thanksgiving, and 3 out 4 has issues. The sales guy just told me to go home and wait, someone will call me to schedule everything, which is never happened. I have to come to the store twice to check where is my dishwasher. I don't have it until now. For the refrigerator, the delivery guy first brought a one with broken plug head, then he went back and changed a replacement which covered with dust on the top. Also they didn't install the ice maker at all, not even reverse the door. For the OTR microwave, the top was bumped and the door was not lined up after installation. The worst part was when we complaint to the manager, he tried every excuse to make it sound like they didn't do anything wrong. This store is the worse I have ever seen. Don't come at all.
I have never in my life had to deal with so many incompetent people.
Now three weeks later, after being ran around about delivery, here I sit at 2:05pm after taking the day off of work to receive goods promised during the "morning" delivery window - still waiting for my delivery.
I signed the contract on September 06,2017,
I still bought $3000 worth of kitchen appliances simply because Home Depot will not honor their military discount policy at the Augusta or Evans locations.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU NEVER GIVE LOWE'S YOUR BUSINESS AND NEVER SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THEM...
I called the store after 1pm to enquire about my "morning" delivery, only to be told by the delivery manager that "They have 17 deliveries today and they will get here when they get here."
I WILL NEVER TRUST LOWE'S TO DO ANY KIND OF WORK FOR ME AGAIN.
LOWE'S LIED TO ME AND THEY WILL PROBABLY LIE TO OTHER PEOPLE IN THE FUTURE..
