I came here a few months ago, actually, several times before as well. But recently, I’ve been coming here once every other month and my favorite dish is very basic but I truly love the this menu item from this specific location; hand battered chicken tenders.

Well, the first few times I had them here were phenomenal, tender and delicious. But sadly lately when I come here are no longer that. They’re REFRIED. oily and hard. Literally hard! I’ve worked for the food industry before and I can tell what a fresh tender is than a refried one looks like, they even shrink smaller after being Re-Fried! The waiter even seemed a little uneasy where she brought the dish.

When you come here, make sure you order everything fresh. This happened right before 9pm, this place is open until 2am. Not nearly time to close.

Visited this location a number of times for both social gatherings and normal dinners. The atmosphere is nice and the servers have always been friendly. Lots of TVs tuned to sports, but it can get loud if you're trying to have a conversation. The beer selection is really good. However, the food quality is hit and miss, more on the miss side. Much of the fried food is good and the burgers are decent. Fresh foods, like burger toppings and salads, are generally questionable.

My family comes down to Augusta from D.C. every Thanksgiving to visit my great aunt. This was our first time trying out the alehouse. We were very happy with the food and service. Special props to the back of the house, that chorizo meatloaf was absolutely amazing!

Carolina Ale is a great place to watch sports several 70 plus screen and plenty of 50 plus screen all over place. They also have a couple pool tables and a large outdoor dinning area with a bar for smokers. The food is not bad here either good wings grilled or roasted. A large selection on the menu burgers, salads too much to list.

Went to Carolina Ale House after shopping for a quick bite. My advice - don't bother unless you have lots of time to waste; like seeing people who arrived AFTER you get their steaks before your chicken sandwich; and enjoy eating lukewarm food. There is no excuse! If I could rate a negative star, I would.
